Carotid Artery CFD
|
As part of a biofluid mechanics course, Mech 492, I create a series of computational fluid dynamics models of carotid arteries to determine areas of high risk for plaque deposits. If large plaque deposits become dislodged, there is a risk they will travel upstream blocking the blood flow to the brain resulting in a stroke.

Lamborghini Gallardo Model
|
This is a model of a Lamborghini Gallardo I created. I started the model while in residence in first year. The entire process took about four months, working off and on. It was built and rendered entirely in Autodesk Maya out of nurbs surfaces.

Computer Prototype Design

The Med-Eng SP CD-ROM was a mutlimedia CD-ROM I built while working at 3dA Multimedia. The CD was built to help customers order replacement parts for the EOD-9 and SRS-5 bombsuits.
I began this project by creating high polygon models of the bomsuits using Maya. I created the models using suits lent to us from Med-Eng. The models were then textured, animated and rendered. I then used these renderings to create the multimedia CD-ROM using Flash.

Computer Prototype Design
|
This is a model I built for a friend of mine. He was participating in a design competition for a rugged computer for use by aboriginals in the forestry industry. He developed the original design and then I built the 3d model and renderings. Due to time constraints, the entire project was completed in 7 hours.
His team went on to win the competition. The model was built using Autodesk Maya and Solid Edge. The renderings were done using Autodesk Image Studio.

Coffee Mug Design
|
These renderings were part of a design project for my Mech 215 course. The task was to design a coffee mug with some inovative feature. The unique feature I incorporate into my design was a removable lid which would provide better insulation, much like a thermos. The lid would be removable and could be stored on the bottom of the mug.
As an addition, the rubber grip on the lid could second as a method of corporate branding. The model was produced in AUtodesk Studio Tools, Maya and Solid Edge. The renderings were done using Image Studio.
