Welcome
I am a recent graduate from the mechanical engineering (BSc- Eng) program at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario (May 2009), with a self-taught interest and talent in computer science. I've put together a small portfolio which you can access from the top top menu. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Carotid Artery

As part of a fourth year independent research project, I analyzed the simulated blood flow in ten cadaver arteries. Previous research papers showed link between low wall shear, an indicator of plaque deposits, and the bifurcation angle of the carotid artery. I suspected the results were due to the use of a simplified geometry. The purpose of my project was to determine if the correlation would hold true in more realistic geometries.

Check It Out..
